The cowl is reattached, the airframe cleaned up and prepared for its owner (Fig. 16). In approximately 14 weeks, just about every performance parameter (speed, climb, take-off distance) has improved 20% to 100%. Standing on the ramp, it is easy to spot a JetPROP DLX (Fig 17). In addition to the four blade propeller, the cowl has been elongated 17 inches and exhaust stacks have been added to help the Pratt & Whitney's PT6A turbine engine breathe. After customer briefing and checkout, a satisfied conversion customer (Fig. 18) takes off for home.
